Come and meet GAIA 2147

From 2–8 September 2026, Divina Machina will bring GAIA to IFA Berlin together with Vidiv. Inside our telephone booth, visitors can pick up the receiver and enter a private conversation with an AI character designed with voice, personality, memory and a world of its own.

The booth turns a simple call into an experience: come to listen, speak, test an idea or simply discover what happens when artificial intelligence is treated not only as a tool, but as a character, a medium and a creative material.

Throughout IFA 2026, GAIA will be available at the stand as a live demonstration of how conversational AI can move beyond interfaces and become something spatial, narrative and memorable.

THE TALK

What happens when we stop treating AI agents simply as tools and start designing them as characters? Through projects such as GAIA and 2147, Cris Olmedo explores how AI can be used to create agents with personality, backstory, voice, memory and a world to inhabit. The talk looks at how character design, conversational AI, visual storytelling, physical installations and filmmaking can come together to build coherent fictional universes and experiences people can genuinely connect with.

Divina Machina is led by Cris Olmedo and Kurt Sommer, combining creative direction with execution. Cris shapes the concepts, narratives and experiences; Kurt makes them possible, bringing an operations mindset shaped by entrepreneurship, ESADE and music. As part of QS Ventures, we work at the intersection of creativity, technology and business.

At IFA Berlin, we’ll explore the connections between film, design, artificial intelligence, music and art, with a particular focus on how organizations can implement AI creatively—not simply as a productivity tool, but as a way to expand what teams are capable of imagining and producing. We work especially with executives and creative teams to integrate AI into their processes, rethink how they operate and push their creative potential to the next level.
